How it works

In the premises you will find the panel with instructions for the operation of the washing machines and dryers.
Follow the steps indicated and in just 45 minutes you will have your clothes clean and dry.

  • El Safareig del Barri has a washing machine area with different drum capacities of 8kg, 13kg and 17kg.
  • All washing programs include soap and fabric softener.
  • Washing time is 30 minutes.
1. Choose a washing machine, place the clothes inside the drum and close the door. Remember to empty the pockets and close the zippers.

2. Go to the Payment Center and follow the instructions.

Select the Washing Machine number.

Select the Wash program.

  • PROGRAM 1 60º VERY HOT TEMPERATURE = VERY DIRTY CLOTHES
  • PROGRAM 2 40º HOT TEMPERATURE = DIRTY CLOTHES
  • PROGRAM 3 30º TEMPERATE TEMPERATURE = EVERYDAY CLOTHING
  • PROGRAM 4 0º COLD TEMPERATURE = DELICATE CLOTHING
3. Select the EXTRA Options that suit you and personalize your wash. (it is optional)

3.1. Extra Wash

  • Greater intensity in washing. Indicated for demanding cleaning needs.
  • Improves the quality of washing in very dirty clothes.

3.2. Extra Rinse

  • Better rinsing. Suitable for baby clothes and people with allergies.
  • Reduces the residual amount of detergent products in clothing.

3.3. Extra Centrifuged

  • Longer spin time. Indicated for thick and voluminous fabrics.
  • Reduces the amount of residual moisture in clothing. Improves the effectiveness of subsequent drying.

All extra options are compatible with each other, with all programs and fabrics.

4. Make the payment in cash, with a credit or debit card and/or with the EL SAFAREIG DEL BARRI card.

The washing machine clock indicates the remaining time of the wash cycle.

Drying area

  • The Safareig del Barri has an area of ​​dryers with a load of 17 kg, these have three temperatures to choose from: 60º, 70º and 80º.
  • Drying time varies depending on the quantity and fabric of the clothing, the minimum cycle is 15 minutes.
  • Remember that you can open the dryer door at any time during drying to check the moisture level of the clothes. When opening the door; the drying process will stop. When closing the door; the drying process will continue.
1. Choose a dryer, place the clothes inside the drum and close the door.
2. Go to the cashier, select the number of the dryer you have chosen and pay in cash and/or EL SAFAREIG DEL BARRI card.
3. Return to the dryer and select the drying temperature.

3.1. Low temperature 60º

3.2. Average temperature 70º

3.3. High temperature 80º

Folding and waiting area

The Safareig del Barri has a very original folding area. It consists of a piece of furniture that covers two functions at the same time; On the one hand, it is a table necessary for preparing clothes and/or folding; On the other hand, there are two benches that allow you to sit and wait for your laundry and drying to finish.

  • Eating and drinking prohibited.
  • It is prohibited to enter with animals.
  • It is prohibited to enter with bicycles, scooters and skates.
  • Please respect all furniture.
  • Taking photographs without authorization is prohibited.

Save with your customer card

With the EL SAFAREIG DEL BARRI customer card you will get a 10% discount on the prices indicated on washing machines and a 5% discount on the price of dryers.

You can get it at the PAYMENT CENTRAL by following these steps:

  • 2. Make the payment of €20.

The EL SAFAREIG DEL BARRI card is rechargeable and does not expire
